Patricia Archambeau, age 72 of L'Anse, MI passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Bayside Village in L'Anse. She was born October 14, 1941 in L'Anse, MI daughter to Arthur and Gertrude (Londo) Boyer. Patricia attended Sacred Heart Catholic School through the 8th grade and then graduated from L'Anse High School. She married Earl Melman in 1968, then later married Arthur Archambeau in 1975.
Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a former member of the Eagles Auxiliary. In her earlier years she was employed as a Nurses Aid at Winkler's Nursing Home. In her younger years she enjoyed walking and in her later years visiting with family and socializing with her friends at Bayside.
Surviving are her children, Patrick (Lisa) Melman of Appleton, WI, Betty Melman ( Lee Peterson) of L'Anse, Margaret Archambeau (Scott Hazen) of L'Anse; brothers, Tony (Barb) Boyer of Manistique, MI, Donald (Phyllis) Boyer of L'Anse; five grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th from 12-1:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Nick Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
