Robert W. Jauhiainen

Robert W. Jauhiainen, 85, former area resident, died Friday, May 5, 2006 in Pontiac, Michigan.
Bob was born November 30, 1920, in Hancock, MI, to Nestor and Mary Jauhiainen.
He attended Hancock public schools, served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and in various employment in the Detroit area. He was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church in Hancock and was recently associated with the Salvation Army in Pontiac. Friends remember Bob for his lifelong love of the violin.
He is survived by a brother, Rev. Henry Jauhiainen of Duluth, MN; five nephews and one niece. His parents and a brother, Arne Jauhiainen of Howell, MI preceded him in death.
A private burial service will be held in the Hancock Lakeside Cemetery.
The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
