Ruth Ann (Fredrickson) LeClaire

Ruth Ann (Lundy) LeClaire, age 88 of L'Anse, MI passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Omega House in Houghton, MI with her family by her side.

She was born on August 23, 1931 in L'Anse, daughter of George and Rosetta (Bowden) Fredrickson. Ruth Ann graduated from L'Anse High School in 1949. She married Dennis Lundy on March 8, 1952, he preceded her in death. On February 14, 2004 she married Raphael LeClaire at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Ruth Ann worked as a nurses aide at BCMH, a telephone operator, at the L'Anse Sentinel, and at the dry cleaners. She was a member of the L'Anse Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis (Cynthia) Lundy and Robert Lundy both of L'anse; brother Robert Fredrickson; grandchildren, Sherry (Craig) Cowell, Dennis A. (Jen) Lundy, Mathew Lundy, Bobbi Lynn (Gerhard) Davig, Brook (Tim) Tadysak; 8 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Dennis Lundy; husband Raphael LeClaire; daughter Debra Ann Niemela; and brother Alan D. Fredrickson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th from 11-1 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will take place for family at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Nate Reed officiating. Burial will be in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, August 1st at 10 a.m.
