Scott David Anderson

Scott David Anderson, age 60 of L’Anse, MI passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 19, 1959 in Iron Mountain, MI son of Donald and Barbara (Kunick) Anderson. He graduated from Kingsford High Scholl in 1976. After high school Scott worked as an ink man for a printing press in Norway, MI, then for the railroad and on the pipeline in the U. P.

Scott moved to L’Anse in 2004 to be close to his family. He was always the life of the party and loved to make people laugh.

Surviving are his daughter Donna (David) of Las Vegas; 4 grandchildren; mother Barbara Anderson of L’Anse; brother Dennis (Debbie) Anderson of Alston; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins

Preceding him in death are his father Donald Anderson; brothers, Steve and Donald Anderson; sisters, Lori Bal and Cheryl Sanicki.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Baraga with Rev. Julie Belew officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall. Burial will be in the Baraga Cemetery in the spring. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
