Wesley Reynold Ollila

Wesley Reynold Ollila, age 96 of Aura, MI passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 15, 1916 in Mohawk, MI son to Matt and Edla (Kivela) Ollila. Wesley grew up in Aura and graduated from Skanee School. He married the former Siiri Toyras in 1937. Wesley worked in the woods until 1960 when he went to work for Celotex for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and made ice fishing tents and sleds.
Surviving are his sons, Clyde (Sharon) Ollila of Skanee and Clarence Ollila of Aura; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents Matt and Edla Ollila; wife Siiri Ollila; son Gerald Ollila; sisters Helen Stein, Irma Carr, and a brother Edwin Ollila.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
