Willard Longrie

Willard Longrie, age 89 of Covington, MI passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Marquette General Hospital.
Willard was born on January, 10, 1922 in Sidnaw, MI son of Charles and Evelyn (Dehaut) Longrie. He was raised in Sidnaw and worked many years for the railroad.
Surviving are his sister Patricia (Arnold) Townsend of North Carolina; sister-in-law Lucille Longrie of Covington; many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Orville, Charles and Robert Longrie; sisters, Arlene Shelly, Marion Stebbins, and Helen Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 1:00 pm at the Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse. Fr. Antony Lukka will officiate. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sidnaw Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
