William Ernest Sikkila

William Ernest Sikkila, age 60 of L'Anse passed peacefully with his much loved girls at his side.

Bill was a very loving and kind soul who was loved by many.

He was born September 1st, 1964 in L'Anse, MI son of Harold and Kay (Salonen) Sikkila.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family as well as shooting pool, hunting, drawing, making his "Yooper" clocks, riding in the woods with his country music but his specialty was carpentry. He built many houses but put most of his passion into gifts he made for others. Especially an unforgettable bird house he made for his Mom's yard.

Surviving are his wife Kerri, daughters Andrea Sikkila-Rantanen (Randy), Bobbie (Boo to her Dad) Lou Sikkila, brother JR Sikkila (Jeanne) along with many very loved nieces and nephews, Aleah Kissel-Rasanen (Matthew), Shelby Fredricks (Tyler), Jace Sikkila, Zack Kissel (Kristie), Carter Kissel, Connor Frick and Michael and McKenna Rasanen.

Bill is preceded in death by his loving Mother Kay Sikkila, Father Harold Sikkila, brothers Eugene Sullivan, and Ted Kissel.

Note worthy closing chapters of his life were spent bringing joy and receiving the same in the company of his Bayside family. Endless gratitude needs to be sent to those who showered him with such love and compassion and shared in his "Billy" wit.
